its still not to late to remove all rosebay willowherb from in your garden or near by.
don t put them in the compost
put them under water in a bucket until they rott.

really get lots of different seeds and plants out there in relationship to your new plan.yes new plan.
be daring. try new things.i don t mean rare difficult to cultivate plants.
get your garden really planted out out so.in its going to so full there be no room for weeds.leave a wee section for wild plants.

i have been very busy this year.
here we are in oct its been a wet summer up hear in scotland.i did notice it made the grow on most hedging plants and bushy fenomenal.
1.so cut back any bushes and trees that need it.
2.put a cut on your grass if you get a dry day
3.turn any compost heaps that you have time to turn
4.lost of my customer like to tidy up dead plant heads.
i would leave a lot of mine which i consider look good but it can also protect the plants from frost.like hydrangeas some up here still have strong flowers on.
i will cut my yellow yarrow back and weed the patch.
i also compast with rough compost at this time of year because i know the frost will get it and break it down more-bed it in.
reindeer piss mushrooms.
if tell me why i made this comment about these bushrooms i will give a free hrs gardening.

i am back after a busy summer.
need to get employ another person.with this amount of work.if you would like to be consider send your cv to my email with a covering letter.
here we are in November
there still plenty of tiding up to do.
most people remove there dead leaf to make garden look neater.
i think really its better to leave them if you can.
although in my own garden i often tidy up beds just for the look.
i also notice a lot of unwanted pest (i use the word pest but in my book most best are actually part of a solution to a hidden problem) nest during the frost under the leafs.
1.could be tidy beds
2.clean greenhouse glass.get rid of all diseased or posable diseased plants out of the greenhouse.
3.i bring all my frost sensitive plants in doors.
4.start tool repairs (sharpen and oil all tools).don t get the lawn mower serviced yet.
5.prune back roses.
6.cut back michaelmas daisies.
7.cut back Crocosmia Perennial to the start of any new growth
these are just seven jobs for this month.
the list is endless when you get started

Its been a long winter.I am still getting frosts.
Its good to continue with sowing. carrots.i have 2 types this year.nantes 2/Fanal.which is a fairly early one to sawn from February, and autumn king with is a April until the middle of June sower.
member and use the calendar tomorrow there is some root time mixed in with some ground dead time.

this a winter scene taken a few days ago
scoots pine are great plant if your garden is big enough.like the queens estate were this is taken.
this is good time of year to manure one flower beds and veg patches.
to prune any hegdes you havent done already.
plant bulbs for spring.
its good timme to shit certain plants about thank you ve noticed need moved before.
its good time to consider healthy water.sort out water butts

Its interesting getting to know different customers opinions about cutting back .I say if its going to look messy cut it back ie yellow yarrow and same rose depending.
make sure you compost the cutting.
beautiful flower to have in your garden at this time of year.

There is still time to plant some winter lettuce.
there is plenty of pruning to do.the wisteria sinensis has normally just finished flowering for the second time.its good to get pruned.

Scottish #heather
plants are begining to fade quicker now.Lots of cutting back to do.
often plants like ferns can take over a bit and need cutting back so surounding plants can catch a wee bit of the last of the summer growth.
The other job i consider important is to put compost down before the autunm leafs fall.especially if you like to leave the leafs lying.
lawn needs airated at this time of year before the heavey rains (this suumer been wet).
you can also plant certain specie of winter lettuce.you need to feed the soil weel first before seeding.

Busy is good way to describe july.
It can often seam like to much work.that why you ll want to hire a great gardener!?
There is plenty of other stuff you can do,to not be to busy. You can let so called weeds grow in your lawn.Just practice changing the soil nutrients of the lawn by composting and sanding it in a balanced mixture and dab forking it over.you will notice the weeds will gradually disappear over time.Any that stay are meant to be there.
Keep deed heading roses.
I also cut my Jerusalem artichokes back.I find it helps the bulbs form.

There is loads of jobs to do even in January.
Its a great time to do more reflective inner work.
Examples.
1.to listen to the wind in different types of trees and note the sound and the type.
2.watch were rain collects in the garden. to know wet areas and dry areas.Ask the question of what is the essence of healthy water.
Practical tasks.
A.Replace any rotten wooden or stone bounder’s. ie 1.raised bed planks 2.shed panels 3. fence wood.
B.Put in stone steps. c.turn compost heaps d.Insulated worms(wormerys) if you haven’t already.e.weed.f cut back dead plants. cut back any forgotten pruning ie apple and rose.g.prepare growing beds
C.Feed soil.compost soil.(prepare ground)
D.do any tool repairs and maintenance.
E.Buy Seeds for next growing season.
F.Work out planting calendar for diary
G.on going: maintain log pile for green house heater or shed heater.repair log pile roof.
Harvest. cabbages, cauliflowers and other winter brassicas. leeks,celeriac and root veg like parsnip,swedes and radish.
its a good time to catch up on tool repairs if you have any time left.

There is plenty of weeding to do.
the plant below is red sorrel.

This plant was filling a garden border.
Their is also plenty of harvesting to do.I have been harvesting spinach.Lots of small leaf greens to harvest.
As we approach mid summer.The weeds can be difficult to remove with out damaging the plants.
one needs to keep an eye out for aphids on rose.Spray with ground up quartz crystal if the get out of hand.
some watering will need to be done during june.
Trim lawn edges.
Trim escallonia hedges for flower displace in late summer.weed and compost hedge bottoms.

Vegetables
Plant Brussels,winter cabbages,purple sprouting and spring headed broccoli.

Herbs sow chervil and dill: chervil is also know as sweet Scilly
Chervil has been around for about the last 2000 years. It was introduced to Europe by the Romans and was used by the ancient Greeks as a rejuvenating tonic.
It was taken as a drink that was a mixture of dandelion, chervil, watercress and water. Due to being rich in minerals and vitamins, this concoction was vital during the winter months when many types of fruit and vegetables were out of season or hard to find.thin seedlings.Insert more rose-merry and sage cuttings.Start harvesting herbs for freezing and drying.
Containers water at least once a day and feed with liquid manure.
