“We used Greenman Gardening for two large gardening tasks in the walled garden behind our Georgian Office in Edinburgh .
The first task involved the cutting back of an invasive Ivy plant which had taken over a complete two storey wall and was encroaching on the neighbouring properties roof.
The second job was a major weeding and cutting back operation to tidy the garden as it had become dreadfully overgrown after 5 months of lockdown.
The tasks were all expedited fully with no fuss and we were delighted with the service. Gavin is a friendly individual, knows his trade and works hard. His prices are extremely favourable.”

Gavin not only has a wonderful affinity with nature but is also very knowledgeable. He is reliable, methodical and thorough in his work; in addition, he takes care in tidying up afterwards. Gavin helped us move some rhododendrons, all of which are now thriving in their new locations. In addition, he gave us pruning advice on our two flowering cherries and then carried out the work. They, too, are looking so much better this year.
I have no hesitation in highly recommending him.

Hi Gavin
I’ve been really impressed by how much work you get through in just a couple of hours each week. You’re a great worker, and it’s really important to me that you’re so passionate about caring properly for the soil. When you’re working on my allotment, it seems to give me more energy for working too, and the result is that my plot has gone in just a few morning sessions from looking unloved to looking really well nurtured. Thank you!
